Historically, overseas buyers have bought riads (traditional Moroccan homes) as renovation projects in Marrakech and other cities. The Moroccan property market is now changing, with many new build projects on offer to meet both local and overseas demand for residential and commercial property.

- End-of-stock developer deals.
At the moment, the best opportunities are in growing cities such as Marrakech, Rabat and Agadir. The high local demand for real estate means that investors need not rely on other overseas investors for their exit route.
